Well I have gained back 2 pounds over the past 10 days. It took me 6 weeks to lose those same 2 pounds in the first place. I’m beyond frustrated.

I’m sure it’s hard to see the increase esp after working so hard to get those two off. Christmas will do that though with temptations around and different kinds of food around. Don’t feel too discouraged- I’m sure many are in the same boat as you are. Stay persistent in your goal. I am on the sidelines cheering you on.

Thanks kool, it is just so frustrating how quickly it came back. I appreciate the support, it really does help. I guess it’s time to dust off and refocus. Hope you had a nice Christmas.

A lot use the new year as just what you said- to refocus. Good time to do it as we flip our calendars over and begin 2019. My Christmas was quiet. I did not feel like celebrating this year so I kept to myself and did nothing all day. Just didn’t feel like Christmas this year... Hope that yours was lovely though and you were able to enjoy it as much as you could- esp with those darn temptations of sweets that often bombard the house.

Your hard work could’ve been converting fat to muscle, so you’re probably in a much better position. Muscle is heavier than fat as well. So you may have only lost 2 pounds but in reality lost a lot more fat and just gained muscle. Muscle also burns more calories while you’re at rest so don’t get frustrated, if you put in the work, it’s still there. Keep it up and you’ll get to where you want to be
