So hubby keeps winning awards for work the last few years. Every time he gets moved up to go against other districts and this year he won the big one! He “won” a place on a board of sorts. He gets to speak at meetings and basically tell everyone why he is successful and how they should change to be as successful in their markets as he is. He also won a decorative plate award and an Apple Watch. Guess what I got for Christmas? His watch! He says he isn’t a watch person and dislikes technology. Since he hadn’t been fiddling with it I had wondered. This makes me happy and sad at the same time. He won this and it should be his. He also thought it would be something I’d enjoy and I could tell he was super excited to give it to me. He kept asking me to set it up and show it off. So I did and I love it.

BUT if anyone checks my logs they might be off. I had to set it in the app to where health won’t sync to the app. It rarely does but decided to now. Showed I burned like 2400 kcal today 😳. It’s only been set up for 5 hours but basically the app, the watch/health and my tracker made for a few triple hours. Think I have it figured out now. 😉

Yes 😁. I get frustrated with technology but do enjoy it. Plus I know if I learn to work it then he may want to borrow it lol. He ordered the more neutral color I chose. He had asked me my opinion on colors and there was a pink one I teased him about, a super dark blue or black color and a gray. He choose the gray. It came with a small/med band AND and Large band. Coincidence? 😂 lol 😝

I look silly right now. I have the Apple Watch on my left wrist and my old tracker on my right. I figure I’ll do this for a couple days then compare my FS log that I input the tracker data into with what the Apple Watch says. If it’s similar then I’ll stop wearing the old tracker. If not then I’m not sure what I’ll do. The watch so far says I burn about 60 kcal per hour doing nothing and an extra 77 kcal over the evening through standing and moving around. 1365 burned per day its saying based on this evening. I know for a fact that I burn at least 1450 on days that I do nothing. Kinda like today when I ate, played cards and sat and visited 😉. It’ll be interesting to see how it counts actual workouts and cleaning the house! For weights I put my tracker to sleep and just time it and log that under light weight lifting in the app. It seemed to be fairly accurate last summer.
