So Weight Watchers. It has been around since 1963. The reason I bring it up is that it is one of if not the most successful weight loss plan around. It is a simplified version of calorie counting which instead uses points. It's a version of portion control with nothing off limits. They even have points assigned to processed foods. It is essentially what I do every day. My WoE is nothing new, it isn't a new concept it's been around for a long time yet people cannot believe it. One guy even thinks I am paid by certain fast food vendors to associate a nice body with their products. :D

My Hubby, Daughter and myself lost 20 in first week. I am not a big fan of protein so I had to stop. I lost 116 pounds in about 7 months from Crohns Disease. I am only up 29 pounds since the loss 17 years ago.

@moopie321 I agree. In order to lose weight you have to create a calorie deficit. There are MANY ways and diets (hate that word) around to achieve a calorie deficit.... keto, paleo, Mediterranean, WW, Jenny Craig, etc. Now which is the best one? I've seen a bunch of people argue over this claiming there way is the best, only way, and they may be right, there way is the best for them, but it may not be the best for you. The best way of eating for a healthy weight and lifestyle is one you can do every day while enjoying it. I personally do IF, while trying to eat healthy, one ingredient foods. (That's not to say I don't eat a piece of cake at a birthday party, or splurge here and there, but for the most part I like the way I FEEL after eating healthy foods). I eat most of my calories in about 1 or 2 meals with the addition of a protein shake. I've tried many ways of eating (to lose weight) and after many years of yo yo dieting have found a way of eating that works for ME. It is truly a blessing when you find what works for you.... Since discovering what works for me I am down 87 lbs, over 45 inches off my waist, chest, etc. Experiment people, find out what fits your lifestyle and try to enjoy doing it, it's the only way you'll maintain eating that way for the long term.
