3.4 miles walked today with 1 doggy; 2nd one along for just 1.8 miles. Beautiful, cooler day, but will still be in the 80's.
More paint prep today. Decided on my original shade of yellow after all, but painting a sample helped. I need to make a trip to Wally World and then the paint store. I'm trying to get everything ready so I can begin the actual painting tomorrow morning.....after DH and I move the bed out which is the last piece of furniture to leave.
Packers play again tonight and I'm hoping they can bounce back from Sunday's loss and eek out a win over those darned Chicago Bears!
I may only be on for enough time this weekend to record my foods. Everyone....have a wonderful weekend!

Oh, I love yellow! My kitchen is done in a very soft butter yellow (with cream trim). Best of luck with your projects - at least you have some cooler weather for it.

Buffy, I've always liked yellow in a room. In just about every house we've owned, when we've painted something, somehow, it ended up with yellow walls! Of course, I've done my share of eggshell, off-white, winter white, etc., but painting a real color is so much more exciting. I have a paint-store postcard sample of a kitchen done in shades of yellow. I've kept that postcard so, someday......

Have a great time painting...its not that bad once you get started..the worst part is taping things you don't want painted...Hope your team wins..:O)

Thanks Bren. Yes, the Packers WON!!! And...you're right, the actual painting is not bad at all, but man, do I hate the prep, including all that taping! Bedroom is done....at least I think it is. The tape will come off tomorrow (Sunday) and I'm hoping there isn't a blue edge left over all around the moldings from the previous blue paint. I'm going to go ahead and plan on doing a secondary bedroom with this same color, later this week. I've got everything out and ready, so I might as well get that one done too. It's a fairly bright lime green so you know that just HAS to go!!!
