Rain threatened to keep me from walking this AM, and it eventually made me cut short the walk with my doggies...just 1.9 miles. But I came home and did a short Stairmaster routine to sort of make up for the shortened walk, as the rain began to come down in sheets.

This afternoon, I was at the thrift store - thank heaven! I really miss that place when I'm not volunteering there. There was SO much work to be done, I was in constant motion and loved every minute of it! Then, I made a stop at Wally World on my way home for a few things.

My body, and the scale, are cooperating with me working my way back into my Maintenance range - surprise, surprise! This pace won't last forever, but it really helps my motivation if I get some nearly-immediate reward for it.

It finally stopped raining late in the day, so I'm hoping (really?) that the lawn will be dry enough to cut tomorrow. A short walk with the dogs plus the yardwork is all I need for tomorrow's exercise. The pool's still warm enough for swimming, so I expect I'll use it a lot if I'm doing the lawn.

Good decision on cutting the walk short. And congratulation on the maintenance progress. I have no doubt you'll get this perfected. And before I forget - thanks for your advice. Nice to have a smart friend!

Good thing you cut it short..you might have been very wet other wise..congrats on keeping up with the maintenace plan...your my hero...:O)

Glad you got somewhat of a walk in...better than nothing, but I do agree, you more than made up for it on the stairmaster. You know, I really do think it is good to use those machines now & then...way different muscle groups. Also, I agree with Buffy & Bren...someday soon I hope to be where you are in my journey. You are an inspiration to many.
