yes, I have been over a month gaining and losing the same weight, but my belly is getting smaller I can see that, although I am still a little disappointed 😶

If only this were the case...!! I think I've toned up a bit.. my face and shoulders look a lot more lean. But the scale doesn't move much and my tummy is in wilful defiance lol Anyway. I'm sticking to it to be healthier but being 35 sure makes it way tougher.

@kardasia if only musclue weight made us feel as good as lower numbers on the scale.

@Kadasia muscle does NOT weigh more than fat. A pound is a pound is a pound. 1 pound of feathers weighs the same as 1 pound of steel. Muscla takes up less space than fat, less volume.

It’s true that a pound is a pound. But my thighs with muscle are much smaller than my thighs with fat. That’s the trick of the scale and why I only use it once a month. It’s such a poor indicator of success if you are dieting and exercising hard.

Exactly. The scale can be your worst enemy if you lift. My weight hasn't budged in a couple months but I look a lot leaner and I'm stronger. Progress pics and tape measurements are key.
