Like anything, if you use it, it will work. I use a Garmin (fitbit) I track steps I aim for 12000/daily, activities like golf, it tracks my heart rate and measures my intensity level. Also, they track calories burned, stairs taken, sleep duration and so on. It also knows and displays when I am being lazy and doing nothing. It is a reminder to get moving and reach your goals. I've been using them for years, they're not for everyone but I like gadgets, especially if they get me moving. You gotta use it to lose it. Good luck

I have a Nokia watch which hooks up to my scale, it is the same idea as Fitbit and honestly I don’t think I would have lost the weight I did without it!! 💪🏼😀

I have an Apple Watch, I’m lost without it. It tacks my workouts, calories burned, activity levels, steps, heart rate and more. Even increases or decreases the forecasted level of activity for the week in advance. I really do swear by it and it does work well if you utilise it. And besides it gives me little digital trophies and awards when I’ve done well, exceeded progress or reached new goals. I ❤️ my watch lol

My family went through multiple FitBits in a year. They don’t last and the company only warranties the 1st failure. We each went through three in one year and ultimately invested in an Apple Watch. Much happier now. Hope you have better luck with your FitBit.

What i hate about FitBit is that you can have an awesome day tracking 10,000 steps plus only to find out it needed recharging and didn’t track anything!

My son now has the Fitbit that has gone through four members of our family. My daughter and I have our original ones still. I like that it encourages me to get more active. We compete against each other as a family and also with friends to see who has reached their goal steps.
