Back from a fantastic vacation! My exercise walking is rained out today, so Stairmaster was my pick....much easier and lower heart rate, so perhaps my time on the elliptical, short as it has been, is making a difference???

Anyway, I gained a couple pounds on vacation but am still within that critical 5-pound zone for Maintenance, so all is well. Nonetheless, I'm now going to see if I've really learned how to manage my weight and if my ideas for how many calories and carbs are required to lose, are really true.

So.....off I go....1300 calories and under 40 total carbs.

We missed so much! You sound very chipper from your vacation - and, as you know, 2 pounds is nothing! Maintenance will be a breeze for you.
