Not much weight lost on my program so far and I didn't get my official weigh-in done, so I'll try to do it tomorrow or wait until next week. I took my measurements though and overall I've lost just over 3 inches in the last month. Even if the scale isn't moving a lot, at least I know I'm doing something right.

Even doing the right things, I did eat poorly over the weekend. Saturday was my brother's wedding and they did really simple foods, just hot dogs, fried chicken and salads. I opted for the hot dog because I don't like fried chicken, and ate a tiny helping of salads and beans, then I did eat a cupcake too. I did two workouts on Saturday so I'm not going to beat myself up too much for indulging. Sunday we went out to lunch with my BIL for his birthday. I really didn't get much activity in to counter that, but at least I didn't snack like crazy yesterday or overeat at dinner, so again, I'm not going to beat myself up. Life happens. I've got my planned foods for the week, so I'm just going to try to stay on track.

Today is day one of new workouts with my program, so I'm excited to see what I'll be doing and if I can go up even higher with my weights. I bought some 20 lb dumbbells over the weekend, so I'm going to try those out I'm sure at some point this week. We'll see if I have more inches lost next month.

Sorry, but if it is the wedding of close family, i say let your hair down and enjoy! You made up for it with the workout, and you are back on it today!

Jengetfit123, that's kind of what I was thinking too. I let my hair down, and enjoyed, and was still mindful of when I was full so I wasn't hunched over miserable in a corner somewhere wishing I hadn't eaten so much. :) I am learning!
