I think you did great this week Mom! You were exercising and eating a low fat balanced diet with a few weak out of the house moments. Losing weight the right way is a slow process but it's worth it. Drastic diets that you can't follow after you have lost weight only causes you to yoyo back to higher numbers. You want to eat now like you'll want to eat always. Moderation and exercise are key to maintaining a consistent healthy, energetic self. I always make healthy snacks/lunch for Carole and I when we are planning to be running errands or just going to the park. This way I never am forced to pick the lesser of evils for eating. I would say 9 times out of ten we eat what's been prepared instead of eating out. This keeps our odds of eating healthier in our favor and save money. I'll post some recipes that are low fat and half of the prepared portion may be frozen for later goodness when you don't feel like cooking so much. :-)
