I decided to see the PA today. My glucose is down, cholesterol is down, and most everything else is perfect. I weighed in at 142 on the dr office scale. It is usually a lb higher than my scale at home.
He said my b12 was way too high and my d way too low. Easy fixes.
The 28th will be 3 months that I have been doing this, again. He said I should be proud of my loss and my numbers.
Today I will be content.
We are taking Mom to the the rum distillery later. That should be fun.
She leaves Saturday afternoon. :(
It has been a really good visit so far.

Hi Kumberlie, I am writing on your home page as I don’t see a way to do it on Vam49’s. I recommend the Scientific American article Kenna refers to. It asks the question, “What makes you fat “ but doesn’t answer it. Scientific studies have not yet been done about the value of nutrient restrictive diets. Proponents are working from suppositions that has not yet been proven to be true. Carry on with your keto diet, you body will manage. You might consider how various fats figure into things like heart disease. Do the keto diets differentiate among saturated and non-saturated fat, vegetable and animal fat, fat that’s solid at room temperature and fat that’s liquid at room temperature ? By the way, my professional background is as a specialist in the biochemistry was of nutrient utilization in. I was faculty at the University of California at San Francisco.
