What a week! With my partner out of town, I felt free to make choices all about me. I worked out 6 days in a row, ate what I wanted when I wanted. Oddball stuff like a pancake made from fresh homemade bread crumbs, egg substitute, grated zucchini, fresh Basil, goat cheese, & black pepper. When ready to eat, I spread it wih edamame hummus. Then there were the stuffed baby bell peppers I made, substituting fiery salsa for the herbs called for in my recipe. When I just had a few left; I chopped them up, mixed them with 4 oz ground turkey breast & made an awesome & unique burger patty.

I'll be delighted to pick partner up at the airport. The down side is going to a friend's double birthday party on Saturday & all the food that people say "you just gotta try" including a cake, I'm sure I won't be tempted, but I don't want to offend the birthday gal who cooks. Oh, & its Hawaiian themed; what am I going to wear?

It frustrates my that I have to sign for a package in the morning & don't know if I'll Make it to Zumba, Aqua, or my other class. WHat do I wear to be ready to hop in the car & drive the 1.6 miiles to the gym to whichever class I can make it to.

Then, Saturday, 11 am, is it ok to say "honey, I missed you; I'm going to go shake my booty & get sweaty with a roomful of people; a dimly lit room with pulse-pounding music...
