such a blah day but im trying ... it is so hard to decide what to eat....

You're doing great Mom! Make a list of snacks that are good for you and keep it nearby. This will help you make good informed decisions about what you put in your body. I'll start adding recipes in my area that are low fat, good protein, vegetarian dishes. Eating more veggie dishes will give you more fiber, less calories, and a more full feeling so you won't feel like snacking.
