rschafer1970's Journal, 30 Jul 23

After 9 months of working out 6 days a week. Dealing with plateauing and then the frustration of not reaching my goal weight by my target date, I was feeling defeated. So I took a week off from working out. I did walk over 25 km in 2 days at the fair with my nieces. So I still got in exercise, just a more enjoyable version. I feel I needed the break and the reset both physically and mentally. So tomorrow I will continue with my journey hopefully more refreshed. I will set myself new goals and target dates.

Yes, I think it was a good time to take a small break. I think it has helped clear the clutter of my mind as well, enabling me to focus once again on the journey.
