Don't give up I just did and ended up gaining more than my original. If you really can't handle it just ease up on it a bit. Because once you start quitting it gets easier to quite and harder to start.

Don’t give up on yourself. Instead of being hard on yourself or things that aren’t going well try to do one nice thing for yourself a day. Give yourself a compliment. Take a ten minute walk. Plan when you will watch a movie you have always wanted to see. You deserve to feel good and be healthy. It’s not always easy but you deserve the best for yourself. Hugs and hang in there.

Sometimes we just need a brake. Just try to remember all you’ve accomplished already, and make healthy choices. Don’t be too hard on yourself. We have all been there. Stay strong

Hi Kelly, don't give up, rough days, blues, and depression are ingredients for a disaster, stress hormone goes up making even harder to control body weight... what you should do is Go For A Massage... and relax

i used to have a morning show host when I managed radio stations who got SAD so bad that it was worth the money to pay for him to go somewhere warm and sunny in the middle of winter. Amazing the difference after. winter depression is real.

Please don’t throw in the towel. Guaranteed, you’ll feel worse and regret it more. Just take a couple days, rest, clear your head, do some things you love and pace yourself. Praying for you. Winter is not an easy season. Sending some warm hugs! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

There are lights that help with SAD - I think they are pretty reasonable now for cost.

I have ordered a Happy Light lamp. And walking is out... I live in the Arctic, not walking too far this time of year. I do get SAD every year, but wow this year seems to have really hit me hard. I’ll get back in the grove, just need to get over the hurdle and fight through the depressed state I’m in as of late. It’s been a hard few weeks but I’ll come back around. I back-slided a lot, I’ve put on a lot of weight again but I’m stubborn, I’ll fix me again.

Ever hear of walking indoors with Leslie Sansone? It’s an option for weather issues. She’s my go too for years. Check her out Kelly!!

It’s hard Kelly as I have depression and no one that doesn’t have it quite understands what we go through. I say we because I have had it for years and it affects me and most definitely my weight gain. I’ve regained some weight I lost recently because of a tragic loss I had in my family and my depression got the best of me and I over eat.... it’s really hard and a struggle each day to keep going and overcome this depression. I fight it every day and like you have good days and very bad ones. You will be ok and will loose again. You just have to get through this period of time...

Hi Kelly. Since I hit my target weight in Sept. I haven't been active on FS but have been reading the entries as the appear. I have noticed you have been very quiet and I was hoping everything was OK. I was diagnosed with polymyalgia in July(intense pain) and had a severe sinus and bronchial infection in Nov. so we both have had our problems. When I am hurting I just have to remember there are people worse off than me so I feel grateful for the health I have. Just try and keep positive and I hope and pray things will improve for you. Keep the faith.
