You are a good person and every minute of every day we choose how to act and react to life. You can’t control much in life but you can control the way you react things.

@marshkanady, yep, I'll have to realise that
this world isn't a perfect place,
and being alive is already a blessing.
I need to be down to earth instead of
wishing everything will change for the better.
@amandakane1, thanks, and I agreed that I had to fix those problems.
But I know clearly it has nothing to do with the diet.
I'm just simply not happy with myself and my life.
I must solve the weight problem ahead.
I understand that appearance is not all
but still plays a huge part in our life.
I am really grateful for your support.

@momma6224, thank you.
I've been reading some books about Buddhism recently
and realised that the root cause of our suffering is really ignorance,
from which arises unrealistic expectation, mismatch reality, and frustration.
All these can result in negative emotions such as anger and sorrow.
And you are so right when you say we can control the way we react to things
because it is also said that nothing in the outside world
can force us to be angry; it is actually our response to the situations.
In my case, the reason I became angry yesterday was
I didn't expect the situation would ever occur to me
without knowing that everything in this world could be somehow unexpected.
I'm not trying to promote Buddhist thinking or anything,
I just happened to read what you've said in a book,
and I was amazed by how right you are. Thank you.

I can hand out advice but I am not very great at following my own advice haha! from the little I know you, you seem like a very smart, kind person. We all lose control and get angry at times. Forgive yourself and try harder next time!

Leon, the anger manegement will come. 🤷🏻♀️Some is your sex and your age. Biologically men’s adrenaline response peaks in 10-15 minutes during a confrontation, women’s in 30-40...by then most men are calmed down and women are running for their lives with the children in the aftermath! 🙇🏻♀️LOL It’s that biology thing. A good author on some of the points of anger and internal issues relating it to violence and martial arts specifically is, Rory Miller. Look him up on Amazon. ‘Meditations on Violence.’ Is a good read about the steps that normally lead to confrontation and how to avoid them (or escalate them in your favor if you are a policeman or other first respondr that needs to)! He teaches many seminars around the world nowadays to martial artists on biolence and reactions to it.
