Peasy3's Journal, 21 Mar 18

My body seems to like 126lbs. I’m not going to stress about it though, it’s a lot better than where I started at 146. My office holds fundraisers every now and then, and today it’s a spaghetti feed. I was asked to make my vegetable sauce. I baked my spaghetti squash while it was cooking, so I can have some without the carb guilt. By the time I got home after work, went to the store, made the sauce and worked out – I didn’t eat dinner until 9:00pm. I think that is part of the reason for the nagging extra pound hanging around this morning. I have every faith that it will move out sometime today, as the only thing planned after work today is to go straight home and workout.

I’m not the thinnest I have ever been but I am the most toned I have ever been. I am so grateful for Studio S boot camp on Prime. It has really pushed me to focus on muscle groups that I haven’t met in years. I have always had a love for running but really drug my feet with strength training.

Couldn’t get the Mr. to do a workout with me last night, his mistress Destiny (video game) called. Hoping he gets back to it tonight. He dropped 6lbs pretty quickly with my low carb cooking and not bringing junk food into the house, but he has stalled out for about a week. I really hope and pray to see him move out of the obese category into the overweight, simply for health reasons.

Yeah, my husbands mistress is Morrowind, and it keeps him up late sometimes. lol I would love to be 126lbs!! I am jealous!! You are doing so great!! I am so happy for you. I miss pasta, but my pants being a smaller size reminds me that pasta is not that important!

You are being so motivated! You will definitely see that move just stick with it. I on the other hand had a week off with family and friends and completely fell off the wagon despite the exercising.. hmm. Have you thought about trying a new sport or exercise? Sometimes if you're sticking to the same routine your body can compensate and not work the burn so much. Maybe try mastering a machine you don't normally use.

I will @Bandraid, thank you! Good idea. I'm thinking I need to do a little less plyometric type exercises for awhile and do a little more walking.

Toned is a good thing - also feeling better is my measure. the weight number is really just a guide. I am super fortunate that my wife goes to the gym with me and sticks it out. the up side is that we are both getting healthier a little bit at a time. keep going on those goals and being a great example here. PS I love the spaghetti squash with sauce - amazing.

I understand Peasy I have been doing this for over a year just hoping that my husband would get on board by setting a good example, and also not bringing in crappy food and doing my healthy cooking. I finally coaxed and lightly pushed for him to get his annual check up / blood test. Those numbers don't lie. That was a wake up call and he is now totally on board and doing much better. Now the mistress called Destiny is another story all together - good luck with that one! LOL

OHhhh @Little Red Fox I wish I could get him to do a blood test! @Tahobrun That is so awesome that she goes with you. Yes, I agree about the number. If I feel good in clothes, have a healthy BMI, and can put on a bathing suit with confidence - who cares about a number?
