Peasy3's Journal, 09 Mar 18

I was worried about not doing any kind of exercise, as I have been under the weather. I drank a lot of hot tea and ate clean. It paid off, only .2 lbs to go! My daughter was so sweet and brought home my favorite sandwich yesterday. I sat and stared at it in the fridge debating. I wasn't exercising, so carbs like that just are not on the menu...but...she got it for me. So, I compromised and ate about 1/3 of it and sent the rest today in the Mr.'s lunch.

Feeling a bit better today. Everything I am reading says it's ok to do some moderate exercise if your symptoms are above the neck, so I plan to get a light workout in this afternoon. Hoping I can get the Mr. to join. We were watching tv last night and were shocked to see that Bob Harper had a heart attack. Heart disease runs in my husband's family and I have been begging him to get a physical but one can only nag so much.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

If he's not very active or physical maybe "trick" him into a fun activity that involves some jumping around or exercise .. like a bowling night ? Great fun, get friends to come with.. and basically you're up standing and throwing weights around.. or as a couple do a dance class? If you add those in couple of times a week it would help ..

Thanks @Bandraid, great ideas. He works (and stresses) a lot. It's tough to get him to go out after work. We do have a Wii though, I will try to talk him into some boxing or bowling on that tonight. We have a friend that owns an old deserted resort and it needs work, they ask us to help and when we are there he does quite a bit of physical activity. I'm looking forward to the weather getting better, so we can get out there again.
