I got back on the yoga mat yesterday. I wish I could find someone to educate me on the connection between hormones and motivation. I'd even pay for online classes if I knew what direction to go.

Dad is one day removed from iv antibiotics and despite taking augmentin he already has trace amounts of sediment in his catheter. He has gone right back to his routine of being out of bed just long enough to eat then right back to bed.

Hubby may have some digestion issues. He'll be getting a ct to confirm. The good thing is it's almost gardening season which means extra fiber which will help if he has an issue.

My peonies are coming up but no asparagus yet. Blueberry & raspberry bushes are starting to bud but I fear it's to early and it can easily still frost or even freeze.

I'm ready for gardening, too :) I'm currently looking for some blueberry bushes but haven't seen any yet. Hope your dad starts feeling better, and good luck on hubby's ct.

My dad is in the hospital and has had a catheter for a month or longer now. We were seeing sediment in his urine a few days ago and asked his Dr. about it. He said once the catheter has been there for awhile, the urinary tract sort of sloughs off internally, thus the reason for the sediment. Also, I've read on some other sites that people mix a 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar in warm/hot water and drink it every morning, which people reported that it clears up the urine, helps remove sediment and reduces UTIs. My dad has a feeding tube right now, so drinking any liquids is out for him, otherwise I'd have him try it. You might do some of your own research about urine sediment to see if you find anything else helpful to him.
