Started a running program last night to prepare for a 5k. I read an Olympian's advice to run for 15 seconds then walk for 45. I was able to repeat that 4 times then developed a stitch in my side that threatened to disable me. I hurt all over this morning, but the scales reflected my efforts. I hurt all over when I started the fast walk program, too. It'll get better. Just a danged shame that cheeseburgers don't hurt us like this when we're putting them on, cause they sure hurt taking them off. I think I bruised my heel some, too. Hard to run in work boots but it's all I got. Push ups are up to 15 a set. Blood sugar was 119 this morning, blood pressure 118/75. Amazing what a few weeks will do.
