week 2 at gym. last week I was 172.2. 2 lb loss so far. my scale at home says 164. huge difference.
77.2 kg Lost so far: 1.8 kg.    Still to go: 11.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 0.4 kg a Week

Scales vary so much. I would weigh myself at home and when I got to the gym . Then weigh after exercising and again at home. I did that for a week to see how much they varied. For me, there was not too much of a difference between the two. This may seem obsessive but it helped me if both numbers was higher to know where I was heading.
