Its so annoying my weigh is going the wrong way and I am barely ate any carbs. Not losing weigh an eating less than 40 carbs is crazy. I tried to stop tracking my every bite and it has been a failure. I don't want to live tracking my food forever. Feels like the last few months have been a complete waste.

Anyone have any experience changing from Atkins dieting to Weigh Watchers? If it works for Oprah why not me??

Hi Cambridge. Low car only works when you increase healthy fats. If you are eating low fat or unhealthy fat, this could be the reason.

Maybe now is the time to re-evaluate the diet you are following. Ask yourself, is your diet one that could be followed for life? Is it really the healthiest way to achieve your goal. Maybe a month doing one of the partial fasting day diets could give you the boost you need. Feel free to contact me for a moan if you need x

If I could just offer a suggestion on tracking your food – a perceptual shift, if you will. Tracking is not about parentally disciplining yourself. It is about recording your food intake so that you can monitor how it affects your body, and then, make conscious decisions about what is working or what needs to change. For example, if you experience weight gain over a week, you can go back and take a look at what you ate and then shift things one at a time. If you can, do this without passing judgment on yourself and see this whole thing as a process rather than missing or hitting your goal on a given day.

Low carb high fat diet works for me less than 20 net carbs. UGH somedays it feels so wrong but in 4 months lost 24 lbs flucuates. Slow moving though, bored, and hate tracking but If I dont its worse. Im with you sometimes I just dont know what will work. I feel better though

I noticed you had a bit higher calories over the weekend so this weigh in could possibly be water weight gain? I know I tend to eat more over the weekend so my weigh in is on fridays. If I weighed on Mondays I know it would show higher, but not "fat" weight. I am LCHF and eat very low carbs. I don't track as much as I used to just because I tend to eat the same things over and over. As far as one plan over another- choose one you can do (or think you can do) forever. I'm not sure about the new WW but I would think it involves some kind of tracking of your food. Oprah is a great example of lots of diets work in the short term, but can you sustain that WOE? She, like so many of us has not been able to. Now that she has a monetary stake in WW she is working that program. I am not trying to take anything away from WW, just putting it in perspective.

It all should be i moderation, even if ur carbs are low doesnt mean ur calories are. And if ur take in is as much as ur put out (activity/burn) then ur gonna stay stable not loose. Its tricky. I am a huuuuge fan of the 21 day fix. It can be ordered thru beachbody.com & done in installments. I think the total after the 3 months of payments makes it like $80 and up if u order the other workouts or other programs if u choose but its well worth even just the 21 day fix. I eve believe they give u a free gif for ordering online that u can pick from. But it helps u put in ur weight & stuff to determine how many calories u should have then it tells u how many of the color coordinated dishes to use. Like for ur calories per day u get 3 purple dishes which are fruit & 2 yellow which are carb & etc.. the dishes are sturdy dishwasher safe & user friendly so u arent measuring. Look into the infomercials!!!!!!! It gives you balance & u get to eat tons of great healthy food! Good Luck in your journey!
