Okay so yesterday I weighed myself and in 2 days I had gained 3 pounds. I was really upset because I've been making sure I stayed well under my calorie limit and made sure my net calories were AT LEAST 1500. Usually they are about 1700. So there was no way I was gaining MORE weight. Then I read an article that confirmed my thought. When following a diet and exercise program that includes weight training, it's nearly impossible to gain fat. But the key word in that is FAT. Basically long story short, my body is holding on to carbs and water for energy since it's losing fat.

Today I lost 1.3 lbs. BUT the jeans that were super loose on me before fit PERFECTLY. I'm assuming that's the muscle in my legs swelling. All though I'm doing all over weight training, there's alot of emphasis on the legs with squats and lunges. My cardio days emphasize on lower body also with spinning. I also feel a tad bloated. Husband and fitness friends say to just drink more water.

All in all after work I'm going to do an ab dvd at home (I get off half a day on Fridays! ^_^). After that I need to clean the house. It's going to be an all weekend thing because my mother in law is coming to visit in a couple weeks. So I'll use that as a workout this weekend. My poor lower body needs a break, it's been hit hard for the past 4 days.
