I recently read, "Assuming you maintain at 1800-2000 calories a day, that's 5300-5500 calories that you would have had to have eaten to gain just ONE pound. Thus, eating enough calories to gain FOUR pounds in one day is nearly impossible." I'm certain that it is water weight-- drink plenty today and tomorrow morning you'll be right as rain!

If you are on plan, it's just water weight. We all have gains somewhere along our journey whether we deserve it or not. It could be something as simple as too much sodium yesterday. Exercise, medications, sickness, stress, hormones, and many other factors can cause water retention and mask our losses. Just keep going.

A lot of it has to do with the swelling I have in my legs. I have Lymphidema(?)one of the most precious things ( I say sarcastically) I picked up as result of the accident I was in 8 years ago. But I keep my legs wrapped constantly to keep the swelling down.
