Approx 1300 calories consumed yesterday. Net weight gain 1.4 lbs. Weight is fluctuating like mad. I will continue to monitor calories and exercise and see what happens.
95.9 kg Lost so far: 26.6 kg.    Still to go: 5.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Definitely have been there - the "water wars" as I call them, but...it falls away if I just stay the course - rinse and repeat...blip, stabilise, lose, blip, stabilise, lose. I've read more than once that this is partially down to the body's attempt to equalize - as fat does get lost, then backfilled, basically, with water as it thinks it needs to "maintain" our status quo - (taking the reduction in food and/or increase in exercise as a sign that maybe we're under duress)....shame we can't just tell it otherwise! We just have to keep doing the right things and (sometimes yes, it's hard) not let the pingpong effect get to us. In addition, if you've exhausted your body's glycogen stores and have eaten carbs to restore them- the glycogen, which is basically matched 4:1 with water as a natural course - does weigh something, but it's not "fat". The long term trend downward may just look a bit "spiky" from time to time - and that fluctuation you are seeing can well be that what you are doing, is working, and the body's just trying to find new footing! :)
