Slightly early weigh in ☆ Appt. to get labs done. I had to go out in the chilly rain this morning....no coffee til after ☔️😕☕️

Today is the last day of rain...expecting sunshine & warm temps for a few days starting tomorrow 🌞 I bought a few annuals to pop in my planters on Tuesday, so I can finish doing that. I was able to plant some begonias, succulents & an impatien yesterday evening when we got a break in the rain.

Monday, the tree guys came & cut down the huge white pine by the deck. Amazing, they were able to drop it between the house & the other trees without hitting a thing! I have 2 hardwoods that I didn't want damaged....and of course we didn't want it to fall on the house 😳 They chipped up branches & hauled the tree trunks onto the adjacent wooded property.

I was tempted to stay home & work in the yard, since it was sunny but convinced myself to get my butt to the Gym. I wasn't feeling it, so my workout was so so, but it was still a workout. Yesterday, Hubby joined me again & I was a little more motivated. I did have a limited time to get done, cause Hubby was going out for the evening & we needed to be home by a certain time. Decent workout though.

Tuesday, I saw the Cardiology NP for a follow-up. She praised my continuing to maintain my weight & workout routine. The heart rate specialist I saw in January had suggested I go back on blood thinners as a precaution ( history of Afib). My last incident was years ago, though. I told the NP I felt with my change in lifestyle, my risk was greatly reduced. Traditionally, risk goes up after age 65. I don't want to take blood thinners & she agreed....for now.

Housework & laundry today.

Great news with not needing blood thinner. It's nice when your doctors work with you. I'm hoping for the same cooperation with my new doctor. I love hearing about your activities, especially your gardening. My only activity lately has been working in our gardens, mostly clean up and moving plants around. Spring is slow starting over here, or I may just be impatient. 😒😁

Becca, back in the beginning I just did what the doctors told me & didn't question them. I've become more involved in my later years. I hope you & your doctors come tobterms that make you both happy. I'm impatient in the Spring, too! First sign of nice weather I'm ready to jump in the gardens. I find some of my gardening workouts are just as strenuous as my Gym workouts! I have to pace myself or I pay for it at the end of the day.
