RobDBZ's Journal, 17 Mar 24

Had a slight blip this week and took my eye off the ball on a few occasions. Never massively overate but I did have to much bread and carbs. And with this rain I never got as much walking done as I’d liked. I’m hoping once I hit my target I keep the weight off as I’m sick of it yo-yo’ing every winter and then losing it for summer. Ps…some self talk 😁 With me though food is an emotional crutch. If I’m wanting to keep it off, mindfulness/meditation/breathing and cold water therapy are the real tools I need to implement. It’s all about stress management and emotional regulation.

It' all goes hand in hand. It can be difficult to get everything on track when there are so many external pressures on us. So it's great to have these strategies to help you stay on top of things. Good call 👍

Yeah definitely, the joys of modern life and the daily stresses which it brings. If I can maintain my daily practice everything else falls into place. So on that note, meditation then a cold shower before work it is 😂 Hopefully this finds you well and smiling and you have a great day 🎉
