Windy Day's Journal, 22 Feb 24

Good Thursday morning peepers! Ive lost very little over the course of the winter, but my time is approaching. The cold months are not my best time to shine. My motivation flies out the window and I just want to be warm and snuggly - and snack. Now Im motivating to knocking off the next 10 pounds and tone muscles further. I can do this, now I just need to DO this. Happy, healthy end of the week everyone! Forward march! =D

Isn’t it funny how we are all different. Living in Canada, we have cold winters so actually working out is much better for me during the winter because I hate the heat in the summer and find working out much more difficult.

I'm with you Windy! I live in NH, and used to get in a lot of winter sports like Wifey, but with the warmer winters no snow on the ground where I live, so no xx skiing. I could downhill but I have to take time off from work for that, or fight crowds on weekends (too old for that). Last year I spent a mo. in FL because I can work remote, but this year my dog is too sick. Soooo wishing I could! Luckily I don't snack as much as drink tea (my go to for NOT snacking) :-) I def. identify!

wifey, Yes! Even between daughter and myself. She prefers the cold, me the heat. I used to live in New England 30+ yrs ago. But Ive gotten so accustomed to the summer heat in the south that I just cant handle the cold like I used to be able to. I applaud you gals who get out there and do winter sports!! You guys are amazing =)

Juju girl. I am in awe of you winter sports girls. I drink a lot of herbal teas and it really helps. Love my matcha tea! I dont go overboard with snacks, and do log them, but its a struggle sometimes! Hope your pupper feels better.
