Early weigh-in * Ate more calories yesterday, so staying the same is fine with me.

I saw the Cardiologist Heart Rhythm Specialist. He said the fluctuations in the report from the heart monitor weren't worrisome. He also didn't push any further testing on me. I strongly reiterated I feel fine & the original problem of shortness of breath & fast heartbeat during my workouts had stopped. He did suggest I take blood thinners, but I really don't want to. After my original Afib incidents 2005 & 2007, I took them for a long time. I finally told my Cardiologist I wanted to stop a few years ago & he gave his approval. I do take 2 low dose aspirins a day.

We had Teddy to the vet last week. They did more blood work & determined most things are in line but his pancreas levels were elevated showing continuing chronic pancreatitis. We are now feeding him 3 smaller meals a day instead of 2 to reduce the volume of food in his belly. She also recommended an intravenous injection that is recently approved for dogs to help lower the inflammation & get him back on track. It's a shot given 3 consecutive days. We decided to try it & now we're waiting to see how effective it is. He does seem to be doing better. He's adapting to the meal change & hasn't been having an upset tummy. He also has had more periods of animation but still sleeps a lot. We changed Lucy's meals to 3 × a day, as well. She is always enthusiastic about meals, so no issue there.

We've had a few warmer, sunny days so I'm over the whole January Snowman theme. Yesterday, I packed them up & all the mercury glass from the coffee table tray. I did a little subtle Valentines Day decor for February. I'm so ready for Spring!

Hubby assembled our new garden bench we received as a Christmas gift. It's going in the gardens. I'm getting anxious to get outside & play in the dirt but even though we have nice days Winter is not over. So far we haven't had snow this year but that doesn't mean we couldn't.

Rain in the forcast today, so it's overcast.

Nothing to get in the way of our workout schedule this week. Planning lunch with my sister on Tues.
