Sdbai3's Journal, 30 Apr 15

So, I really stuck to the plan yesterday and it paid off. But dang! If I have to eat one more piece of broccoli....Ugh!!! That is my main struggle. I can eat meat all day long, but the sides...I get so bored. I'm going to turn into a piece of lettuce. LOL. But, on the plus side, I lost a pound and was able to get 2 miles in yesterday. I haven't been doing that as much as I should. My head has been killing me since I started this diet. I drink water,so I'm not sure what this is about. Still working toward the goal of reversing the diabetes I was diagnosed with a month ago. I wonder how long it takes to do that. I'm really curious when I go back in June to see the difference in the numbers. I know I can do this if I just keep my mind focused.
103.4 kg Lost so far: 17.7 kg.    Still to go: 37.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Everyone is different. We don't know how long it will take you to reverse diabetes. After I lost 47 pounds, I was still overweight but my doc took me off my diabetes med. I was strict about not eating anything with added sugar. I eat yogurt and cottage cheese, but keep my sugars below 50 grams a day. Eat healthy and walk. You can do it!
