Hubby & I decided to change our workout days for this week yesterday. I needed to be home by 4 to get ready to go to Book Club & was not able to go to the Gym Friday since I have an afternoon doctor's appointment. Rather than rush thru our workout yesterday, we went today instead. We can get a 3rd day in by going Saturday.

We had a small group for Book Club last night. Sickness prevented some members from attending. We still had a good discussion. As always, the meal was delicious. We had several apppetizers, Salmon as the main course with mashed potatoes, a cucumber salad & these tiny Brazilian cheese rolls. Dessert was peppermint bark & macarons. I went way over my calories, but still maintained my weight.

Since I committed to going to the Gym with Hubby Thurs. (today) & Saturday & I have an appointment tomorrow, I convinced him I should start decorating. He brought our big tree up from storage & I brought my 2 alpine trees up. The big tree took most of the afternoon to assemble & string the lights. The alpine trees are in place in the living room & the big tree is in the dining room. They have to be decorated, but I was able to turn on the lights & enjoy them tonight. He also helped me put the boxes of Fall decor back in the attic when I went up to get the lights.

Off to bed 😴

Ocean_girl, my "big" tree us 8 feet & the alpine trees are slender. I leave the lights on the alpine trees when storing. I won't say it isn't work to decorate them, but it's not quite as much as it sounds 😊 I put the big tree in my dining room because it has more space. I can see it from the kitchen. The alpine trees fit into smaller spaces & I get to enjoy them when we're sitting in the living room at night. I like to sprinkle a little Christmas in every room. My favorite part is enjoying the sparkling lights when I'm all done.
