I'm so tired of fighting with my "inner" self about my abusive eating patterns. I was doing so well taking care of myself until the end of last summer, with the loss of a couple of my quilting friends. Then in January my sweet mother in law unexpectedly passed away as well. I seem to feed myself with unhealthy food when I'm sad and mad as well. As many of you probably have experienced before, then you get mad at myself for doing that, then keep eating poorly. I know my family is concerned about me and keep politely asking me if I have returned to my walking. That just makes me crazy mad. I began to turn inward, and harboring my anger, knowing the whole time I was just hurting myself. So...knowing better and acknowledging that I need to get back on track..I'm going to try by taking baby steps. I started by walking last night with my husband and dogs. Now I'm heading to the kitchen to make a breakfast smoothie, instead of peanut butter toast!
126.9 kg Lost so far: 10.5 kg.    Still to go: 36.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I've been there, I can empathize. Don't give up what you want most for what you want at the moment...you are strong, you can beat this!
