Doctor's appt. with my Primary Care Doctor is done. All is well, except my Vitamin D levels are low. He recommended taking a supplement & rechecking in 6 months. I take a Calcium/ Vit. D combo, but apparently it's not enough. We also discussed the Shingles Vaccine. I got the original one awhile back, but the newer version is more effective. I plan to get it but need to schedule it when I can be down for a couple of days. I've heard it makes you feel bad like the Covid Vaccine did....actually worse.

Hubby feels like he's not maintaining his weight....he's lower than he'd like by 5 to 7 lbs. I suggested some things to eat to up his calories. I did remind him just adding in junk food wasn't the best way to accomplish his goals. Snacking is good, but he needs to be strategic about what. I boiled a bunch of eggs, so they're available. Tonight, he was eating a small bowl of almonds after dinner. I need to be sure he's getting enough calories without messing with how many I'm getting. I prepare breakfast & dinner for both of us, but he's on his own for lunch, except for days I'm in the mood to make something for both of us.

I bought stuff to make Chili today. The weather has gotten chilly & we're both in the mood for some.
