Windy Day's Journal, 09 Oct 23

I honestly did not do my best over the weekend. These constant stalls are beginning to take a toll on my motivation to be honest. It's hard to be good and go so long in between any loss whatsoever. Not giving up, but definitely need to improve. :(

Here's to a better week ahead and a productive one for all. Onward.

Maybe its the shorter days and colder weather.. ? early evenings I boredom eat. I've got to get this nipped in the bud now.

Yeah I'm thinking of restarting the fasting again because I do believe it's because of the weather change so suddenly that my body's not used to being cold anymore lol.

That's good idea, Erin. Yeah, primal need for calories for warmth, sounds right. We have to just keep trying different things, and mixing it up. I really thought my little exercise routine daily would help, but I havent lost a single bit since starting. *throws hands up!* Never surrender! :)

Never surrender is right. I've been stuck for the last five weeks with no loss or gain and I've added to my daily workouts so it's frustrating 🙃 I get it lol. Yes we need.more calories to stay warm but I'm going to be trying to add good calories while wiping out some of the bad.

Same here! I was doing 60 mins a day on my exercise bike for over a week, then settled down to 30mins and still doing it - weeks now, no budge. Im thinking more rice and beans dishes for complete protein to cut down on fat. Can't hurt.

No it really can't.

Don’t lose motivation. Daily weight loss is a very fickle measurement. Things like bowel movements, water intake and even too little calories causing your body to go into starvation mode and hold on to carbs can affect it. Try to stay at the model that has worked in the past as you know it works. Sometimes we think that dropping more calories can mean more weight loss but that’s not always the case.

Thanks, Lou. You are right, and I really think that is one of my biggest problems, too low cal and sluggish metabolism. So, Im going to work on my macros and keep up with my daily exercise, drink more water and lower fat/higher protein. And most of all try to not stress! Thanks for the encouragement. :)
