I am up a pound from a week and a half ago. Last time I weighed in on Thursday morning before going on a trip until Wednesday night. During that time I ate at restaurants three times a day. I tried to guess on calories - I guessed low because when I got home I had gained 4 pounds. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday I have been eating restaurant food for lunch and supper and had breakfast at home. I managed to bring it down 3 pounds in the last two days. Some of that is just getting home to somewhat regular routines.

This coming week will be about eating at home starting on Sunday. I have a couple of days in the up coming week where I will be eating a meal away from home. Not like the last two weeks though!

I have had a busy couple of weeks. I think I referenced the road trip last entry - basically 500 miles from home to the farthest point but with the side trips likely closer to 600 miles. This has played havoc with my daily exercising. I was driving, visiting and at meetings and appointments none of which made exercising convenient. Good news- my skin scan showed no new melanoma! Wednesday I drove 6 hours then I stopped at my father in laws and put in two hours to help my daughter and her friend to get the final things ready for the Garage and Estate Sale on Thursday. They had done an incredible amount of work while I was away! On Thursday I subbed at the school and then we did the first day of the sale from 4 until 8. Yesterday we worked from noon until six. Unfortunately my daughter got the flu so it was me and her friend plus 4 teenagers. Today is the last day of the sale from noon until 6. Hopefully my daughter will be well enough to help. The Garage Sale consists of the entire two car garage lined with shelving - about 4 aisles- plus the whole main floor of the house and some selected rooms upstairs and in the basement and the backyard! You can see we needed lots of workers!!
