Lucy, our Bichon/ Schnauzer, woke me this morning going crazy, barking. Hubby almost stepped on a copperhead walking her down the driveway. He brought her back to the house & she didn't like being left when he went back to take care of it.

I've slowly been going down but haven't gotten back to my goal weight of 135. I grabbed the tape measure yesterday & verified according to my measurements, I'm fine. Holding steady. I also realized that even though I've checked my waist measurement, I haven't recorded it since I measured myself a year ago after joining the Gym. I did make a note in my journal in February. I need to take the time to remedy that.

Good Gym day yesterday 😊 I'm getting stronger, although nowhere near the strength of some of you. I do remind myself I'm measuring against my own progress, not someone elses. I'm happy to say my shoulder, arm, hip, leg 🙄 pain have diminished. I'm able to work out without having to baby all my various body parts. I still have some arthritis but nothing like what I was experiencing. I even retired the heating pad back to storage.

It's overcast & wet this morning. We really could use a good rain. It has been hot & dry.

I had planned to oil the wood bistro set on our covered deck area. I think I may still be able to do that. I need to do some laundry, too. Always seem to have laundry.

Our hummingbirds have been voracious. Just mixed up a batch of feed for them, so I can refill the feeder outside the kitchen window. I need to do this before they get mad....they've been coming to check it out & discovering it's empty.

I've dawdled long enough....time to make breakfast....🍉🍓🍇🥯
