I’m not sure if this is good or not. Four weeks ago I changed from a brand name drug to a generic. In terms of the brand name drug and me:

- 8.5 years on a clinical trial - minimal dosage transition reactions
- 8 years on brand name - no issues
- 4 weeks on same dose generic - 7 adverse reactions & counting - some serious

Weight loss could be number 8. I guess time will tell.

Happy Wednesday my friends. 💜

Yikes it’s good you’re so aware and tracking adverse reactions… are you talking to your MD or pharmacist for guidance? Happy Thursday!

Getting medical help is a story in itself. The neurology department is ghosting me all week. The dispensing pharmacy has been very helpful and will be contacting my neurologist directly after I kept insisting that I’m getting a larger dose. (They’re being ghosted for several months as well). I spoke with my GP and found out why physicians dislike generics. Apparently the acceptance criteria is an 80-120% variance from the brand name drug dose. So I AM getting a higher dose, I’m NOT losing my mind, and I feel vindicated. 😁
