Windy Day's Journal, 29 Jan 23

Here we are nearly at week's end and the only pound lost was the pound I gained. At least I won't (shouldnt be!) going into next week's challenge with a gain.

January almost at it's close and I'm glad. Always such a dreary month. Expecting a week of rain beginning today. But there's Valentine's Day to look forward to. Sure would be nice to drop a couple more pounds before then! My initial hope was to lose 30 lbs by June. Still have 21 to go.. Losing very slowly this time around. Impatiently awaiting spring.. !

Imagining fresh air and sunshine and warm days at the walking park!
82.1 kg Lost so far: 4.1 kg.    Still to go: 18.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Don't put so much pressure on your self. The weight will come off if you work the plan. The key is not to give up. I am getting my daily steps in for three days in a row and hope to make it for a whole week. I walk in Walmart or any big department store. We got a fresh dumping of snow over night and I can't wait for Winter to be over. Have a great week.

Hard to get used to this older slower metabolism for sure. Doing the best I can to remain as low carb as possible. I get the most steps in when Im out, but that's not every day. Been out of work since last August when I must have been putting in 30-40,000 steps daily. It was a physically demanding job. Still managed to gain weight the last few years. So, Im struggling with this lower activity level. Onward. You have a great week too.
