Windy Day's Journal, 10 Jan 23

Downloaded a step tracking app yesterday. Tracked 1000 +/- steps, but its a real hassle carrying my phone around everywhere I go, and found I was forgetting it more than not. I'm going to shop for a wearable pedometer. I think it would simplify things for me immensely. Going shopping today, we'll see what I come across.

Havent lost an ounce in days. Havent gained either, but still, I'm looking for progress!

Onward. I am determined.

Here's to a good week for all of us..

I bought a Garmin step tracker and I try to get my steps in every day. I login on the Garmin site every night with my device. The past two days I made my target and I want to make it a habit every day. On a week when you don't lose weight check your measurements because you could be losing inches. Slow and steady wins the race.

I barely had time to look today, had to bring daughter to work and pick her up as her car is getting fixed. But I did use the app to track 1800 steps. Didnt carry it around in the house, but until I get a wearable I might get a crossbody phone bag that might help. Im shooting for 6000 steps a day for now. Thanks for the tip. I have lost 1/2" on waist so far. Ways to go.

You have encouraged me to get my steps in every day and so far this week I have done so for three out of four days. I am working towards 6000 a day by Summer. We can do this.

Yay! That encourages ME too! Im no where near there yet. I am excited for warmer weather when I can walk outdoors. We will just have to get creative to get our steps in until then. You said it, we can do this - and we will!

I went grocery shopping with hubby today and did a few laps inside the store. I had all my steps done before we left the store. Every time I get all my steps the Garmin adds another 20 steps to my next days goal. Four years ago I was walking 6000 steps a day so I know I can do it again by Summer. We can do it.
