A bit surprising considering all the fun I had last night with food & drinks. The drop looks bigger than it is cause I didn't log my weight yesterday (138 lbs.)

The restaurant we chose for NY Eve dinner serves their dishes family style so we brought home lasagna, bread, short rib & polenta. The lasagna portion from Hubby's meal was so generous we shared the leftovers tonight. I cooked blackeyed peas, too and we finished off the bread.

We went for dinner early last night. Some friends came in so after dinner we joined them at the bar to watch the Georgia/ Ohio game. We finished our bottle of wine & shared a slice of cheesecake for dessert. We came home at halftime and watched the rest of the game. It ended right at midnight with a win for Georgia 😊 It was really foggy driving home, so we were happy to get home & comfy. We opened the champagne for our toast & stayed up another hour watching the Nashville entertainment & countdown for the New Year in their time zone.

Today has been quiet. After we ate Brunch, cleaned the kitchen, I got the blackeyed peas prepped for cooking & I tidied up a little, I put my feet up & watched 3 episodes of Sweet Magnolias on Netflix. Hubby watched more football downstairs. I came down & watched the 2nd half of the Green Bay game with him before making dinner.

Bedtime now 😴
