i feel as though hunger is not a reliable indicator that we need food. hunger is hormonal and physiological. a person can have eaten plenty of food and not need anything nutritionally, but still feel hungry. some people never stop feeling hungry, possibly due to over active or malfunctioning hunger mechanisms. so, don't think you'll find an eating plan that will defeat hunger. the way to defeat hunger is mental and emotional, not fought with food.
