As I'm writing I'm eating Halloween candy,and it's only 10:00 am. Wow. Wow Wow...can't seem to get back to my good eating/exercising routine. My stomach is already hurting from the sugar/chocolate. I'm so stupid.
My life is usually pretty low-key, but recently I've had some pretty tough issues to work through. It quickly showed me that I'm an emotional eater. When things to get tough, I tend to self medicate with food. Once I eat too much of the sugars and carbs, I get sleepy, tend to let things go, am bored, and now I'm depressed. Way to go "self" I'm trying to kick myself in the butt!
I'm hoping by getting back to journaling and keeping track of my food intake, I can make a turn around. Thanks for letting me rant! ttyl, K.
