Montana Ranch Woman's Journal, 16 Jul 22

So yesterday I was told that the back surgeon does not like doing fuses if BMI is over 35 and they say mine is at 38. So crash diet. I need to get my back fixed if I am going to have any kind of life at all. I have been trying to lose for so long but never had such a motivator. Can't really do exercises, maybe be able to ride my exercise bike, so decreasing calorie intake is the only way. I have a week before I see the DR and then not sure how long before surgery.

I feel for you. Have a neck surgery (not disk) scheduled for the first week of August to open out the lateral foramen for a dorsal nerve root. There is no pain like this really. Hugs and support! It will get better!

Best wishes for your surgery. (My deceased hubby had a 25 pound loss required before one of his planned heart surgery. The Doc demanded it and put him on the original South Beach Diet.
