Still here, using FS everyday! I'm just not a good journaller! I do, however, enjoy reading my buddies' journals and making the odd comment!

Weight - all things good. Holding my own. I would like to lose the last few pounds. Eating has been ok. I did go on a carb binge last weekend. And have struggled the first few days of the week to get back on track.

News - found out on Monday at my drs appointment that I have a hernia. What? That's only for men...not so, apparently can be genetic. My dad has had a few hernias fixed that I know of. So, next is an ultrasound and then booking the surgery. Plus breaking the news to work 'cause I will need some time off work for recovery.

Last night my parents came back from their vacation of 19 days in Holland. I picked them up at the airport. They were exhausted. So, I came over to the farm this morning to do the chores for them. My dad looked a lot better, more rested but my mom was still tired. Glad they had a good time but gladder that they are home now.

Plans for the weekend - not much for Saturday, just the normal cutting the lawn, etc. Sunday we are over to my parents to celebrate their 55th anniversary. It was last Friday but they were away. Plus we'll celebrate my sister's 45 b-day too that was this past Tuesday.

So, next week I'm working for 2 days and then off to the lake for vacation for a week. Yaaaa!

Yes - hernia. Wonder how long I can put it off...things seem too busy right now to think of. Plus I'm in a good groove with exercise that I don't want to lose that momentum...
