We are pleasure seekers:) Since the beginning we as a human species have been striving for balance in our lives to live happily ever after. The ones with the most treasure of pleasure seemingly are the most fortunate ones. I have been striving to loose weight and keep healthy in the name of longevity and I realized just yesterday that my struggle was with the instant gratification pleasure I receive from food and my pallet vs. pleasure from having a lighter, healthy body. I believe the old adage, "we can have our cake and eat it too"! It is a delicate balance isn't it? TOWANDA!!!!!!!!
69.9 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 8.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Lisa, I agree with you! We're in this lifetime journey and want to enjoy everything in moderation. It has to be long term sustainable in our food and exercise. I added two spoons of sugar in my coffee this morning and smiled. I wanted that! Enjoy your weekend, my friend!

Lisa I just finished a low carb margarita and some popcorn. Is it something I would do everyday? Nope, but hubby and I are playing a game of rummy, watching Ancient Aliens on the History Channel, as the rain falls on my corner of the world once again. Balance....that is the key, and I won't do this again for a long time. Have a great weekend...TOWANDA!!
