Guess I'm back on track again? last night I broke my fast and ate four Oreos but I still stayed in a calorie deficit. I'm doing my best :)
82.2 kg Lost so far: 0.2 kg.    Still to go: 5.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

As someone who weighs in daily, I will say that a two pound fluctuation from one day to the next doesn’t mean you’re on/off track. Weighing daily builds tolerance, you learn not to “flip the desk and walk away” (usually to the fridge) when you see a number you don’t want to see. Keep going, time will pass whether you take care of yourself or not, might as well do something good for yourself. 💪

I should clarify that since I don’t know what you’re doing, speaking with a nutritionist might be a good move for you. Nutritionist services are sometimes available at pharmacies, it could be worth a look.

Thanks, I really appreciate your comments! I've always been really hard on myself. I know fluctuations are normal but I still tend to beat myself up over them. The Oreos weren't related, just a crack in willpower. I've been to a nutritionist in the past, I have a lot of health issues. I'm still using her advice, but not as much as I probably should lol. She wanted me on a really restrictive diet and it just made me depressed lol

I’m not a follower/believer in fasting though many people seem to have some success with it as a weight loss strategy. I’m just not sure how fasting could teach us to manage proper eating behaviour. Personally, I have to learn and maintain portion control PERMANENTLY for the rest of my life. The only way to do that (for me) is constantly seeing normal portions of foods I love and sticking to it.

Intermittent fasting is an easy way to do portion control :) I have 8 hours on and 16 hours off. It's a more natural way of eating and helps you reduce your portions. Overall, it's something I'd like to follow for the rest of my life.

You can do this just take baby steps and be mindful See your big picture why you are doing this
