Body Fat Readings:

9.2% Omron Athlete Mode
5.6% Omron Normal Mode
5.9% Skin Caliper Test - 3-site Jackson Pollack
- Chest: 5.7mm
- Abs: 8.6
- Quad: 6.2mm

I got a new toy! It is the Accu Fitness Fat Track II Digital Calipers and MyoTape. It's had some mixed reviews however if you can consistently pinch and know where to pinch this can be a consistent and accurate tool.

I have compared my measurements to my fellow trainer's measurements of me and they are spot on! Not only that, but when I switched my Omron to "normal" mode, it was extremely close to what both the trainer and myself were reading. So I am thoroughly convinced I have been tracking incorrectly with the athlete mode. So I will be posting up the different readings now to show variances accordingly but I am convinced I am leaner than what I thought I have been. =)

Have a good Wednesday buds!

Nice new pic!! Wow, your new gadget and tape look pretty snazzy, but I'd be totally lost when using them--good thing you know what you're doing! Happy to hear you're leaner than you thought, that's awesome!! Happy Wednesday :)

Not at all surprised that you're closer to 5 or 6% than 9%...that's definitely how you look, and what I would have expected based simply on your weight and exercise routine. I -knew- I wasn't a half percent below you. In fact, this makes me feel a bit better about the accuracy of my own Omron. I still think I'm closer to 10% though :-)

Nimm - thanks for that, I do believe you are at or below 10% just based on the fact that your readings every morning have been so consistent. There has never been a reading that jumped out as being way out of line. P90X has to be doing wonders for you! I read your proudest moment and it reminded me of mine, when I got my report back from the doc it had a "great job!" on it like I was being graded in elementary school again, haha.
