My right hand hurts this morning! That jammed thumb really took a beating yesterday. With such nice weather the Mrs had us working in the yard. I was fine tuning the drip irrigation all day. She has removed plants, relocated plants and ‘accidentally’ cut sone lines all over the place, so I went through each line to see what we had. Capped off 10 abandoned lines and discovered three plants had no water and a few had multiple lines going to them.
Working with drip irrigation there is A LOT of pinching and pushing and the thumb hurt. I grimaced each time and by the end I knew I’d be feeling this for a few days. So I treated myself to some Häagen-Dazs which pushed me WAY over for the days count but I’m sure I burned way more calories than normal, at least that is my justification for the ice cream.
