Today I gained 0.8 pounds. That is disappointing. I will say that I averaged this weight throughout the week so I was steady. I ate on average 10 cal/ day less than last week when I lost 0.2 pounds.

I would like to take that down another 10 cal/day less and see what happens. The last time I averaged that I went down 1.8 pounds.

I really want to see the scale move and it is not always easy. I do find that I am not as stringent in my eating choices as I am at a weight that is 'okay' but not where I want to be. That no man's land. In a perfect world I would like to drop 20-30 pounds which is a significant amount however I have not been this low in literally decades so it has a push me pull me feel to it.

We are getting significant amounts of snow. It has been snowing without let up for days. I think around noon today it is supposed to stop. Tomorrow the temperatures are climbing and there is going to be a lot of wind. My plan is to shovel my deck (again!) in anticipation of the warmer windy weather. I really don't want to get stuck with an icy deck.

I have been spending 6-8 hours each day getting four companies books into a current state. Challenging and interesting work.

I met a friend for lunch this week. I haven't seen her in more than a year. Covid stuff. It was so nice to re-connect. Another friend has invited me to join their bookclub that is getting going the middle of this month. I am excited. I have never been a part of a book club before - never had the time to meet although I always had the time to read!
76.7 kg Lost so far: 45.1 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
