Finally starting to see the scale move downward again. I am still 5 pounds above where I was before the Christmas season (4 days in my world of crazy eating!) however I am moving in the right direction. It has only been in the last three days that I was coming down from 'neutral'. No surprise these last three days I have been eating more consistently in the target zone.

I really find it hard to suddenly go down in calories and so instead I find that I inch my way downwards. First day I ate 300 calories extra, the next two days close to the zone, then two days of around 50 calories above and then two days of eating slightly under the zone. Other than the first day, the rest is fairly small incremental changes. I do know from past experience that 50 calories over usually means holding my own so if I want to lose I have to be under 50 calories over!

This week has been all about how incredibly cold it has been. It has affected my morning walks - they have been cancelled as I just can't convince myself to go walking in -35C (or colder) weather! My water truck wasn't running and I was getting low on water. It is now fixed and one load has been hauled. I didn't haul a second one as the cold weather was making attaching and unattaching hoses problematic. I hope to haul a load today as the temperature should rise to -27C! I have been working lots on an accounting program for a variety of groups. Somehoow my days are full and I haven't actually just sat down with a book as much as I would have expected.
76.4 kg Lost so far: 45.4 kg.    Still to go: 0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
